New to the forum but not new to electrical but having some medical conditions now.

I have a switch box on the first floor with a dimmer switch and a 3 -way switch ganged with 2 cables and they are both 2 wires and ground. I was replacing the switch (single pole before) because the light would only turn on and off if that was the switch you turned it off with. I could not turn on in the kitchen and go to either of the other two switches to turn it on.

I replaced the switch but now the switch works but the garage and other places that are on that circuit are off.

Please help the garage has my freezer/frig and it has been of since yesterday.

Thanks, shocker

i just got a camera that is supposed to be able to take high quality pictures and videos.  however, the sound on the videos when i transfer them to my computer is horrible.  could it be the type of cords im using?  i cant think what else it could be.  please help!!!

So you have a camera  that does video or is this a video camera that does pictures?  In my experience if it is a camera that takes videos then the quality is normally not that great.  I would recommend using a regular camera for pictures and a real video camera for your videos, you should have better luck Wink

Hi there,

I thought I better put this post in here as it's a bit of an endorsement, but here would be a good place to put your favourite electricians or electrician suppliers in the UK. I live in London so currently the best deals I've found out there are from Aspect Maintenance, I'm also a little bit hesitant going for smaller agencies or individuals because of the risk involved. Anyone else recommend any good UK electricians?
